Brittany Stone Houses

The first half of the season is over

It's been a long time since my last entry and a lot has happened.

Short report of the last race:

After the botched ETU race in Portugal it is not exactly gone well.

As a last test match before the actual season high point of the Sprint Triathlon was in St. Pölten on the program. Even the bike I knew that something was not with my body can vote, I just had no energy anymore and I had to put a very tough defeat.

In the week after that race I was looking for an explanation of my condition and I was also very quickly found: I had were as good as no more iron in the blood and my HGB and HCT in the basement.

Long story short, I was in an overload.

I then made almost two weeks break and then I started without any training at the OEM. I would have no chance with this preparation, I did. But I did not want to shirk my duties. Had the race course I then brought even a chance for a good result. However, I have walked on the first few kilometers and then I wanted too much in the last kilometers broke right and I was dragged to the finish with cramps.

course, have taken their toll, the disappointments of the last weeks of my motivation. So I was very glad when I saw it but slowly uphill.

Two weeks later I stood at the Salzburg Triathlon at the start and although I felt fully fit again su

per fit. The starting field was very good and I had the Opportunity to measure myself against top international triathletes.

With the ninth place I could be happy and take motivation for the next few weeks of training.

As we go from here?

I am on 26 July in Bulgaria on my second elite European Cup at the start line.

Next I'll take a few races in Austria and 5 September as the second season and peak season in Belgrade to make a last European Cup.

I will now return regularly to keep up to date

Greetings

Dani
